The Crescendos Alliance team of anthropologists, medical doctors and nurses, and a hydrology specialist came together to work with the Ministry of Health in the Maras District to test local water sources. We went to the sources, high above the villages and we tested the spigots in town squares and in people’s homes. We also carried out interviews with local residents about their perceptions of water quality and their water needs.
CA is currently taking the test results and teaming up with water engineers to help design safe, reliable water systems for each of the small communities in the Maras District. Everyone deserves safe water!
